Elusive Objects
Individual Project | Fall 2020 | Productions
This project uses a series of studies to examine an object’s atmosphere through visualizations. Using a framework of posthumanism one can acknowledge objects may possess qualities that are hiding or inaccessible to human understanding.
The object is first evaluated for its quantitative and qualitative properties concerning the effects of light. Then digital studies are produced through diagramming, simulation, and renderings. Ultimately, this collection speaks to ideas of wanting to understand objects to learn ways to create human-to-object interactions that are potentially more symbiotic or harmonious.
