Health In Education Proposal: Individual
Maintaining wellness and personal well-being is a concern that touches almost every aspect of daily living. One most notable case is the issue of mental well-being. This proposal examines how a proactive approach to personal well-being, as opposed to a reactive approach, might improve the educational experience for students in a health-focused program.
If you were to imagine, a classroom of 10 students you would come to learn that likely at least two of these students are struggling with serious mental health problems and concerns for their personal well-being. In fact, every semester approximately 20% of students struggle with serious mental health problems and concerns for their personal well-being.
After an evaluation of a program relating to health, insights pointed to tangible program-level interventions that can be used to improve personal well-being.
